EVERY BODY HAS A STORY

METAMORPHOSIS

2026

SIX BODIES. SIX TRANSFORMATIONS.

Desire changes us. Sometimes quietly, sometimes irreversibly. METAMORPHOSIS follows six men through moments of exposure, transformation and self-recognition.

Transformation rarely begins when we think it does.
Sometimes it starts with another body. A look. A possibility that had previously remained unnamed. Sometimes nothing visible changes at all — and yet the person who emerges is no longer exactly the person who entered.
METAMORPHOSIS follows six men — Nadav, Noam, Omer, Eitan, Alon and Ariel — through six different encounters with identity, desire and self-perception.
Their transformations are not presented as a single journey and do not lead toward the same destination.
One body discovers. Another resists. Another exposes itself. Another learns that what appeared fixed was only one possible version of the self.
The sculpture captures a moment rather than an answer.
This is why METAMORPHOSIS is interested less in what somebody becomes than in the instant when becoming can no longer be avoided.
The natural world surrounding the collection reinforces that idea. Bodies and identities behave like living systems: they adapt, open, conceal, grow and change according to forces that cannot always be controlled.
Desire is one of those forces.
METAMORPHOSIS lives in the space between the person we recognise and the person we are becoming.
