PORNOBUNNY is the sculpture project of Italian queer artist and visual storyteller TOTOCOP.
Through rabbit-masked figures, glossy surfaces and bodies caught in motion, he explores desire, vulnerability and queer identity.
Each character becomes a way to give emotion a physical presence.

REACTS
A movement held at its peak. A character caught between confidence and vulnerability.
In PORNOBUNNY, the body carries the emotional intensity of a scene. Within TOTOCOP’s visual storytelling, erections make that intensity visible, giving physical form to emotions that can be joyful, unsettling or contradictory.
The explicitness is part of the story. So are the humour, the tension and the tenderness.
An encounter with the work may begin with attraction, amusement or embarrassment. That first response can open a closer connection with the character and the experience unfolding through its body.
Born in Sicily, TOTOCOP moved to Rome, where he graduated in Communication and developed his career in television.
His two decades of television writing span entertainment, reality and documentary work. That experience informs his attention to character, movement and emotional timing.
Television and sculpture continue side by side. PORNOBUNNY gives his own emotions, observations and queer experience a physical presence through characters and situations.
A heart has long accompanied his name on television scripts. In his artistic practice, the white heart expresses the love that connects the different emotions in his work.

A QUEER MANIFESTO
The rabbit mask conceals the face and draws attention to posture, gesture and tension. A familiar silhouette becomes playful and erotic, powerful and vulnerable.
Across different scenes, the Bunny holds these contradictions together. Its recurring form leaves room for changing emotions and individual stories.
Provocation and tenderness coexist here. The glossy finish and explicit imagery draw attention; the character’s vulnerability gives that encounter another dimension.
Rooted in TOTOCOP’s queer experience, PORNOBUNNY makes space for desire, uncertainty, pleasure and the freedom to exist beyond fixed expectations.

TO ARTWORK
An image, an emotion or a character provides the starting point.
Developed from an initial sketch through 3D modelling and 3D printing, the sculptures are carefully sanded, hand-painted and sealed with a final resin coating. The process transforms imagined scenes into physical sculptures, where colour, surface and gesture work together to shape each character’s presence.
A moment of movement becomes something the viewer can encounter in space.
