PUNCH ME BABY freezes a boxer in a moment when aggression becomes transformation. Adrenaline, muscular tension and instability are visible throughout the figure, yet the blow does not produce collapse.
The work addresses violence — visible and invisible — directed at LGBTQIA+ people. The hostile force lands, hurts and leaves a trace, but it does not win. Combat is reclaimed: aggression is absorbed and turned into resistance, endurance and energy.
This is resilience without martyrdom and strength without emotional hardness. The body remains vulnerable precisely because it remains alive.
