The work was inspired by Oleg, an aerial pole performer whose strength, elegance and fearless artistry became the spark for CIRCUS LOVERS. The narrow vertical pole holds the body between control and the possibility of falling. Muscular effort is visible, but so is the precision that turns effort into something almost weightless.
What matters here is not virtuosity alone, but the way discipline can become expression. The body is exposed, watched and completely dependent on balance, yet it remains fearless.
