THE ARTIST

TOTOCOP 🤍 is the creative alter ego of Totò Coppolino, a queer artist and visual storyteller whose work moves fluidly between pop culture, sculpture, and contemporary visual language.

​

Born in Sicily, in a small seaside town in the province of Palermo, TOTOCOP 🤍 grew up surrounded by light, imagination, and an early desire for transformation. From a young age, creativity became a way to survive, dream, and reinvent the self. With enthusiasm, ambition, and a strong urge for rebirth, he later moved to Rome, where he graduated in Communication and fulfilled a lifelong dream by working in television.

His career in TV led him to create numerous successful projects across variety, documentaries and reality formats, sharpening his sense of narrative and emotional impact. Storytelling, imagery, and timing became essential tools in shaping his artistic voice.

Art has always been part of his DNA. TOTOCOP 🤍 comes from a family deeply rooted in artistic education and sensibility. Both parents are teachers of artistic disciplines, while his sister is a jewelry designer for one of Italy’s most important luxury brands. Growing up in this environment, he absorbed creativity in all its forms: drawing, music, audiovisual language, craftsmanship, imagination, and dreams. For him, life itself is a continuous artistic act.

With PORNO BUNNY, TOTOCOP 🤍 chose to channel his multidisciplinary background into a clear and powerful message in support of the queer community he belongs to.

The white heart 🤍, his signature mark, represents the core of his practice. It stands for honesty within provocation, tenderness within explicitness, and love as an act of visibility. Even in its most daring expressions, his work is guided by authenticity and care.

Through TOTOCOP 🤍, personal history becomes collective imagery, and art becomes a space where queer bodies, emotions, and desires are finally free to exist, be seen, and be celebrated.
